Building Relationships, Delivering
Solutions in the Heart of Johnson County
For over three decades, DeWees Construction Inc. has
stood as a cornerstone of quality and trust in Johnson
County. At the helm is William DeWees, a Center Grove
High School graduate and Purdue University alum, who
founded the company 35 years ago after gaining
valuable experience with three construction firms. His
deep roots in the community and passion for building
have shaped the firm into one of the most respected
names in the region.
“It’s the people,” DeWees said. “We hire great local talent,
stay personally involved in every project, and treat every
customer like a friend. We build every project like it’s our
own building.”
“I’ve lived in Johnson County for 50 years. Our kids went
to Franklin schools and Purdue and IU. This place is
home,” said DeWees. “We don’t just build structures.
We build lasting relationships.
“We’re proud to work here. I can walk to the
post of昀椀ce and still be close to the action. It’s a
perfect blend of peace and progress,” he said.
From iconic civic landmarks like Bargersville Town Hall
and the Johnson County Sheriff CIT facility to the newly
completed Franklin Active Adult Center and Umbarger
Plaza, DeWees Construction has left a visible and lasting
impact across the county. The company also boasts
multiple projects at Johnson Memorial Hospital and work
for major brands like Horizon Bank, First Merchants Bank,
Circle K, and Speedway.
The secret to DeWees Construction’s long-standing
success?
