Creativity, Connection,
and Community Through the Lens
After 10 years as an in-house videographer, Tony
Mulinaro was ready for a new challenge. In 2021, he
launched Yellow Line Productions, a creative media
company, to serve local businesses with high-quality
photography and video storytelling.
“I love the quote, ‘A rising tide lifts all boats,’” he
said. “Having a strong network is more valuable
than just chasing clients. Support from peers
and partners makes all the difference.”
“I’ve always been passionate about media,” Tony said.
“This was about stepping out on my own and doing great
work while staying connected to the community around
me.”
One project he’s especially proud of is a media campaign
for the Town of Bargersville. Tony led the effort to launch
a refreshed brand identity that included both photos and
video, all featuring real residents.
Clients often describe Tony’s work as exceptional and him
as easy to work with. He believes that combination is what
sets Yellow Line apart.
“It was a big effort involving multiple freelancers and
town leaders. It felt good to leave a creative mark on a
community,” he said.
“Every project is a collaboration,” he shared. “Even
though I run the business on my own, I rely on my clients,
creative partners, and sometimes their entire teams to
help bring a project to life.”
His values are simple: work with integrity and add value.
“If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so. My goal is to help
people, not just sell to them.”
That team mindset also fuels his passion for community.
As a husband, father of three, and now part of the local
school system, Tony’s connections in Johnson County
have grown both personally and professionally.
Tony also values giving back. He is mentoring a high
school intern through connections made with Aspire’s
school-to-work program. He is also exploring ways to
connect and encourage men in the community, an area
he feels called to invest in.
Whether behind the camera or behind the scenes, Tony
Mulinaro is building something meaningful by putting
people first.
